While the DSi is a video game console, one of its features is a camera, which you are seeing the results of here in this page. It is not a good camera by any means, but it does have enough resolution to take fairly clear pictures. It is still low resolution enough to give a sort of haze to the pictures.
The Nintendo DSi was the first video game console I've ever played with. I remember it was my friend's DSi, matte light blue with Nintendogs on it. I think that moment may have changed the way I perceived video games in general. The interactive touchscreen blew my mind, as my tiny brain had never seen anything quite like it. Later on I got a black Nintendo 3DS for my birthday, which has served me well until it broke. A couple years ago I got the same colour DSi as the first one I've played with. The DSi will always be special to me and will always remind me of my childhood.
