About Me homo online

I am Shibe, a random film student on the internet. I have a few hobbies, but I spend most of my time watching movies, playing video games, or tinkering around with technology.

My favourite movies are: The Matrix, The Terminator (the 1st and the 2nd films, not any other), and the X-Men franchise.

My favourite video games include: the Need For Speed franchise, Fallout New Vegas, the Call of Duty franchise (the older games are better tho), and Warioware. I also love the 6th generation of gaming as it has a very special visual style and a selection of fun and challenging games.

I also like to listen to music. My favourite bands at the moment are Linkin Park, System of a Down, and Architects. I mostly listen to either rock/metal or atmospheric drum and bass.

I was inspired to make this website after discovering Neocities. During my first day browsing Neocities, I was in awe of the amount of beautiful and content-rich websites on the platform. I grew up using mostly social media, and the contrast between the (lowkey) boring social media and the creative websites found on Neocities was very new to me. So I learned some HTML and CSS and here we are. ^^

I am new to HTML and CSS, so I apologize if the website doesn't look good on mobile devices. For those who are inspecting the site's code, I'm sorry if it is confusing to read. xD

This website may change layouts over time, or it may stay with this relatively simple layout that relies mostly on HTML and CSS.

Credits

The background on my homepage was created in Krita, using textures from Texture Town. Buttons mostly come from The 88x31 GIF collection, most of the blinkies and stamps and other graphics on my website are gathered from all around the web, including Tumblr. My logo is made in Krita using textures from Texture Town and a font called Marola.
